Alfred POV

"You are playing a prank on me right"

"No son, am serious we have found a wife for you"

"Damn! You know what? When you two are done playing around you can see yourself out".

I Know am being disrespectful right now, but they caused it. I mean who goes around telling their children. "Hey, I have found a wife for you. And your wedding is in a week time".

"Alfred Smith!, Where are your manners?" My mom yelled at me.

Sitting on the couch with my eyes closed, I wished I was dreaming. "Dad, how sure are you that she is the perfect match for me".

"You should be happy that's there is a family willing to marry off their daughter to you". He replied.

"That's the very reason, we ought to be careful, she might be coming for the wealth." I was really trying everything in my power to spoil his mind.

"What's wealth?" my mom sneered at me.

"My wealth, sorry my family's wealth". I said.

"Are you not ashamed of living off your family wealth?". My dad questioned.

" I am really trying my best, Dad"

"That's why we arranged a girl for you, who knows if you get married, if you will man up and take responsibility for yourself".

"It's time for you to give us a Grandchild".

"And they are coming over for dinner tonight. So it is important you are there and be of your best behavior" .

"Mind you, your Grandpa will be there also, you don't want to piss him off". .

"Argh!! it's better they left after spoiling my mood. Gosh can today get any worse. And why the rush for a grandchild, I mean if they really want to spoil their grandchildrern. Why not ask their daughter or better still, try to give birth another son who would in turn give them as many grandchildren as they need.

Oh, I really need a drink. picking up my car key. I locked my house, keeping the key in the flower vase. I hurried to my car, driving out on a moderate speed enjoying the views of the city

ANABEL POV.

Strolling around aimlessly, enjoying the sun on my skin. I strolled into the amusement park seeing how the kids where playing around lifted my mood. I guess I made the right decision by coming here.

Children playing around, jumping about without any care in the world. Some where screaming at the top of their voices. Parents taking videos of their children. Everybody smiling and laughing as if they don't have any problem in the world. Everybody enjoying their selves and their was me who missed my family. My family was one of the most sweetest, I had the most caring Father. Who would get the moon for me just to keep me happy. And my mom was the sweetest woman ever. But those are in the past now and I have the memories just to keep me going .

I stayed in the amusement park till evening. By 5:20 pm my Dad sent me a text "Mr. Richard Smith invited us for dinner today. Get ready we will leave by 7:00pm".

Great, just when I think I will enjoy myself a little.

Seriously am I some pet that's will be ordered around. Am a human for crying out loud and I have the right to decide for myself.

"Ahhhh" I screamed. Those around me were looking at me like I have gone crazy. Literally I was going crazy because everything around me were making me mad.

Walking out of the amusement park. With no vehicle insight I knew I had no other option than to walk. Lost in thought of meeting Alfred Smith, What's does he look like, how Will he reacts. We all know that Alfred Smith is notorious but no body knows what he look like.

"Heeeey, I heared a deep voice behind me.

"Are you trying to get yourself killed" He screamed.

Turning to see who was screaming, I saw the most handsome creature ever. His brown eye were really captivating. His shirt glued to his body like a second skin. With three buttons of the shirt open one would see his Abs. And his voice I can stay all day listening to it. Okay, I think am reading a lot of stories and it's affecting me.

ALFRED POV

"Are you trying to get yourself killed". I screamed at her.

Annoying people frustrating me here and there. First it was my parents and now this Lady. Who walks in the middle of the road as if their family estate. She turned to stare at me and I most say she is really beautiful. Staring into her blue eyes I can boldly say it is the most cutest eye I have seen.

"Am sorry, I didn't watch where I was going" She apologized to me. Her voice sounds like music too. Damn!! how could God take his time in perfecting one creature only.

"Really!! had it been I ran you over, do you think you will be here telling me sorry. Listen I know your type you are just trying to sulk some money out of me" I told her. I know I shouldn't have accused her right now but am really frustrated and she should deal with it

"Haaaa! Do you think you can pay me if I wanted to do, what you accused me of right now".

Whattt,!! who the hell does she thinks she is? I have never been this humiliated like am Alfred Smith, I can fire the top actress if I want to.

"Can you take a proper look at your car, it is old. I guess it is an inheritance. Tell me how many generation drove it before handling it over to you".

Seriously! I know it's not the lastest brand but damn, the car is freaking expensive. Watching her stare at me like she will devour me made me smirks. But I have a dinner to atrend. Entering my car, I drove off at a high speed.

ANNABEL POV

Really!! what does he take me for. It's nice i talked back at him too. Thank God I have seen a cab. Giving the driver the direction to my house, he drove off. Phewww I can't wait for today to be over so I can visit my bed, it has been a stressful day for me. Wait the day hasn't ended yet it getting started. I feel like crying.
