Levi didn't return to class after lunch so my only guess was that he was busy with the basketball team. I heard that there's a game coming up in a few weeks which requires lots of practice. Thank goodness!
I don't have to wait for him like he had asked and he simply wouldn't see me if I leave now. If he asks later then I'd tell him that I left because he was busy. A perfect lie for a perfect situation. I finished packing my stuff and scouted around the classroom one more time.
