Finding a place to live and a job

(Niyla's pov)

After leaving my home I lived at with my parents I didn't know where I would go, but Lexie said she would help me and I trusted her. Niyla we need to head south. I head Lexie say in my head. I started south with my brother in my arms. I tried to mainly stay in the woods because I knew people would ask questions that I couldn't answer. After about two days of being in the woods, we came to a town. It was a small town, with not many buildings in it. Lexie do u think it will be safe to try and live here for a while? I don't see a problem with that Niyla, though I do smell some wolves around so we will have to try and avoid them as much as possible, we don't want to scare them with our story. I heard Lexie say.

I walked up to this little shop that had a help wanted sign in the window and was happy when the owner was human. I knew I was going to have to lie about my age and why I was looking for a job. Lying about my age would be easy sense I was a werewolve I was bigger then most kids my age. I walked up to the owner and asked her if she would let me have the job. The owner looked at me then at kaino sleeping in my arms. sweetheart why are you looking for a job and how old are you? the owner asked me. I am 16 I was kicked out of my house when my parents found out I was pregnant, I have been living on the streets since then but my son is getting older now.so I figured it was time to find a job and a place to live. I lied easily to her.

oh my God you poor girl, the owner said reacting to my lie. Do you know anything about counting money? she asked me. I looked at her and shook my head yes. with a bight smile on her face she told me I could have the job, and that I would be paid 6.50 an hour. She also told me that she had a empty room in her house and if I wanted to my son and I could stay with her until I got on my feet. I happily took her up on her offer I knew now kaino would have a safe place to lay his head at night.

Grace told me she was going to close the shop.for the rest of the day, so that she could take us to.her house, and we could settle in. When we got to her house I was in awe it was a beautiful house. Grace took us inside and showed me around, then showed me to the room kaino and I would be sleeping in. Grace said she would leave us to get used to the room. I laid kaino down on the bed he was still sleeping. I then laid down beside him and drifted off to sleep we were safe for now and that made me happy.
