Screech!
The motorcycle stopped under an acacia tree not far from the school's entrance.
Erin lowered her slender legs and put her feet on the ground.
She put off her helmet for a while and let her black hair cascade her shoulders.
Her eyes narrowed as she looked towards the schools entrance crowded with parents standing around waiting for their children.
It was twenty five past five. It was five minutes before Earl was dismissed.
Troublesome!
Erin's eyes showed some impatience. She shoved her bag from behind her back and placed it in front of her.
She unzipped the bag. It looked messy in the inside.
Inside, was a laptop, a toy gun,a mechanical watch, a dagger, several lollipops and three phones. Although each item didn't weigh much, buy when put altogether, they were a heavy package.
Erin took out the white slim cellphone from the bag. There were dozens of unread messages in the inbox.
She raised her eyebrows at one of the messages.
There was a brash, faint smile at the corner of her lips.
...
Across the road, a black car slowly came to a halt.
"Young Master Han this is the place," said the chauffer.
The two windows on the right side of the car rolled down.
A man sat in the back seat of the car, his long legs folded. He was wearing a dark grey shirt, his arms casually resting on the window. He had a cigarette between his well defined and spotless fingers.
Looking at the school and bunch of noisy elementary school kids, he frowned.
"Don't tell me that the person I'm looking for is here."
The man looked away. He had fair skin and a deep nose. His deep set eyes were squinting and with his thin lips pursed slightly. He gave off a cold vibe.
The chauffer awkwardly scratched his head.
None of the people ahead looked like the person they were searching for.
Puzzled the chauffer said,"But this is the place that was indicated."
The man's face became solemn.
"When was that?"
The chauffer replied,"Just ten minutes ago.
The man flicked off the ashes from his cigarette. His eyes narrowed as his cold gaze inadvertently turned to the place beneath the tree in a distance.
It was quite windy today.
A young lady was sitting on a motorcycle. Her long balck hair was ethereally blowing in the wind. She was outrageously pretty.
It seemed like she had come to pick her child from school.
But it was so sad that she had become a mother at such a young age.
He shifted his gaze away and asked,"For how long did the signals how up?"
"Less than a minute. " The chauffer replied.
The man kicked the chauffer's chair from behind, "You dare to bring me when the signal didn't even last a minute? The person already ran away. "
The chauffer lowered his head,"My mistake."
Five minutes, later the school bell rang.
A young boy about seven or eight years old was the first one to run out of the school gate.
He turned to the entrance and looked around. When he saw Erin, his yes lit up and he ran in her direction.
His curly hair became messy as the wind blew through it.
He took off his school uniform and dumped it in the nearest trash can alongside his bag.
It was as though he was making an escape.
"Sister!" Earl shouted from far away.
Erin looked up from her cellphone and saw Earl running wildly toward her, she clicked her toungue,"What are you running for?"
"I can finally ditch this horrid place!" Earl rolled his eyes at the school behind him.
Erin laughed as she handed him a small helmet.
Earl pit it on as if he were very familiar with it and asked,"Has Elena gone already?"
"Yeah," responded Erin.
Earl rolled his eyes again,"Idiot."
Erin stretched out her hand and picked him up from the ground and onto the back seat . Then she threw the weighty bag to him "Why are you calling her that?"
"She's brainless. If I don't call her that then whom should I call that." He grabbed the bag tightly and continued matter-of-factly," Does she really think that the Williams family thinks so well of her? They are only interested in the property under her name!"
Erin flicked up the motorcycle's kickstand. throttled and the motorcycle whizzed down the road.
When it brushed past the black sedan the man's flashed past.
She raised her eyebrows. There was a sinister smirk at her lips.
"Sister where are we going?" Earl asked as he hugged her waist.
"To the airport," Erin said lazily, "We're going to Uncle Han's place."
