Chapter 9

Dacia dropped her voice and said. " Do not speak that way about your father. You and Will had better keep your distance from those siblings." They went out in the morning and have only returned past midnight, God knows who they've been mingling with! Wendy stared at the third flow without much emotion on her face, "Understood." ... The next day Erin and Earl went down to eat. They seemed to be in a bad mood and it was worsened by the helper of the Han residence calling them down to eat early in the morning. Their eyes were cold and red due to little sleep. Will saw someone sit down from opposite him from his peripheral vision. Without a thought he lifted his eyes to take a glance and his gaze suddenly froze. The girl's head drooped with thick eyelashes obscuring her eyes. She was extremely beautiful and had long hair that cascaded down her back. There wasn't a lack of pretty high school girls A city. Some were even child stars who rose to fame when they were young. However none of those girls were as beautiful as this girl. She was so pretty that people couldn't look away from her even when she was wearing something plain or dull. Will chuckled silently. Lucas stared at Erin who was exuding a cold, gloomy aura, " Did you not sleep well yesterday?" he asked concerned. "Mmm." She gave him a short reply as she was in no mood to talk to anybody as she tore packet after packet of sugar and added them to the milk. It was only when Lucas's teeth started aching from seeing this that she stopped and calm stirred the mixture with a spoon. She took a gulp of the warm tea. It was only now that her expression softened a little. Lucas couldn't restrain himself and said, "You should consume less sugar or your teeth might rot." Erin lifted up her slightly reddened eyes. They were pitch black and carried much depth but once she was angry they were also sinister and terrifying. Lucas was speechless. Earl immediately gave his sister s super sweet cake to appease her. His sister loved eating sweet stuff, especially things that were cloyingly sacharine. He suspected she was a sugar goblin in her past life. At this point, Lucas coughed and straightened his back to look dignified, he maintained this posture with iron before delivering the news, "Oh right Erin, Earl's matter had been settled so the people will be coming over tonight." Upon hearing this Erin raised her eyebrows and smiled, " Alright, thank you for the trouble Uncle Lucas." Dacia looked around the table and asked with accusatory carelessness, " What's up with Earl?" Lucas replied, " We found a school for him. He's very young so we can't delay his studies." Dacia laughed out loud and caressed Earl's head with an air of an elder, " Go to school and study well, Don't let your Uncle down, alright?" Earl had never liked Dacia but he had to put up with her attitude for now. A hint of disgust flashed across his eyes upon being touched by her and he feigned a smile. ... At the traffic light. Earl was fiddling with his curly hair and swearing, " How dare she touch my head? she was really looking for death." The traffic lights suddenly turned green and Erin drove towards the biggest shopping mall in A city. Earl lowered his head to look at his shirt. He had really grown taller and it couldn't cover his belly completely. " Sis, let's first go to a kid's shop and get some new clothes for me," he said. "Alright we'll do once we reach the shopping mall." replied Erin. The moment they reached the mall, she looked for a parking space, parked her car and entered the shopping mall. ... Emilio was seated in the front passenger seat. While waiting at the red light, he had seen Erin and Earl driving towards the mall. He was perplexed. " Kyrie, it's that mother and child again." In the back seat Kyrie opened his eyes slowly and looked over. He saw their car head in the direction of the mall and told the driver to change route and drive to the mall.
