When Leo woke up, Evan was standing beside him.
Leo immediately shut his eyes.
Evan, unimpressed, said, "What are you pretending for? It's not like I'm thrilled to see you."
He continued, "Do you even realize that Claudia could've walked away and saved herself, yet she turned back to help you? You—a grown man—leaning on her so much she could barely stand. If I hadn't arrived in time, she would've carried you until she collapsed herself. She could've been fine without you, but here she is, stuck in the hospital because of a jerk like you."
"So what?" Leo replied coldly, clearly indifferent to Evan's accusations.
Evan's frustration boiled over. "So, for her sake, sign the papers, get the divorce over with, and stop dragging her down!"
