Blood Lust

First night

Maybe after I eat something, I could take a shower. I leave the bathroom and close the door behind me. God, I feel like these doors need labels. The next one is directly in front of the bed. That's probably the door. I quickly walk to it and slowly creek it open. Bingo! I look down, and there is a generous amount of lunch food on a tray. I bend down and pick it up, using my foot to close the door behind me. Maybe I should take this to the entertainment room so I can sit and eat without disturbing him. I wonder if vampires sleep like we do or if it's like a deeper slumber or something. I don't know, maybe I will ask him sometime. I set the tray down on the tv stand so that I can figure out which door leads to the entertainment room.

There are two more doors on his side of the bed. I go to the closest door first. I open it and it is the entertainment room. Thank goodness, I am curious, but snooping like this and trying to be quiet feels so weird.

I find the light switch on the wall and close the door behind me as I enter.... just to have to go right back out because I forgot my food. I quickly go grab it and go back to the study. I close the door behind me and look around for where to set my food. There is a huge tv and a small couch in front of it. On the other side of the room is a desk and computer. I sit down on the couch with my tray.

After I was done eating, I left the tray outside the door. I went back to the study and watched TV for a while before deciding to shower. It was starting to get later in the day at this point. I must have been vegging on the couch for a while. When I get sucked into a show, I lose track of time. I head to the bathroom, closing the door to the study behind me. I walk to the bathroom and turn the light on. It looks even prettier when the light is on. Woah. There is a massive jacuzzi tub at one end, and on the other is a huge waterfall standing shower. I go to the shower and turn the hot water on. Looking around, I find a small linen closet and grab a towel when something on the counter catches my eye. Lyx had left out a shirt on the counter. Did he leave this for me if I needed it? If I fall any harder, I am going to need a doctor. I strip off last night's pajamas and climb into the shower, closing the glass door behind me.

I am humming to myself in the shower when I hear him clear his throat. I slid the door open a crack, and sure enough, there he is, standing there leaning against the wall.

"Hello beautiful, how was your day?" He smirks.

"Lonely." I pout, making sure to jut out my bottom lip and make puppy dog eyes. He takes a step closer to me.

"I am sorry kitten, is there anything I can do to make you feel better?" He reaches out, holding my chin in his hand. He runs his thumb against my bottom lip. I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding.

"I could help you finish up in there, and then you won't be lonely anymore." He winks at me, and let's go of my chin. I slowly hide my head behind the glass door and slid it closed. He stops me with his hand and pulls it open more than it was before.

"Words kitten, is that a no?" I'm blushing so hard right now my face feels like it's on fire. He just stares at me, waiting for an answer.

" I... umm... I don't... umm think that... that is a good idea." I stumble over my words like an i***t.

"Oh well, kitten, you're loss." With that, he turns and walks out the door. I stand there, stunned with my mouth wide open for a minute. I am kind of disappointed that he gave up so easily.

"If you leave your mouth open like that, I will come over there and give it something to do." Lyx called from the doorway. I was zoned out again, and I didn't see him come back in. I shake my head and turn on some cold water to snap me out of my head. Clearly, it isn't a safe place to be.

I know I shouldn't tease her like that, but I can't help myself. It is just so easy, and she is so cute when she is flustered.

I sit in the study finishing up some work. I left the door open so she would know where I went. After a few minutes of her showering, I hear the water turn off. Soon after that, she comes in the study and plops down on the couch quietly.

"I'll been done soon, kitten." I let her know. Once I get this work done for the company, they won't need anything from me for the rest of the night.

"Okay." She turns on the tv and watches it while I finish up.

After about 15 minutes, I realized I was taking longer than I hoped. There were some issues I wasn't expecting. I go to look up at Valerie, and instead of seeing her on the couch, she is right next to me.

"Are you almost done?" She asked shyly. She pouted a little bit, crossing her arms.

"Almost kitten." I assure her, and then push my chair out a bit. I turn slightly, grabbing her hips, and lifted her up onto my lap so she was facing me. She gasps.

"It's okay, kitten. I won't take too long if you are here." I wink at her.
