As the figures approached, Thessalia's heart began to race, and she could feel the adrenaline pumping through her veins. She tried to make out their features in the dim light, but they were too far away to see clearly. Her mind raced with possibilities of who they could be and what they wanted. Were they rogue wolves? Hunters? Or something even more sinister? Ava stood beside her, her grip on Thessalia's arm tightening as they stood their ground. They had no weapons and no backup, and the odds were definitely not in their favor. Thessalia couldn't help but think about her pack and how they would react if they found out she and Ava were in danger. As the figures closed in on them, Thessalia knew they had to act fast. She scanned the area for any possible escape routes but found none.
