After a stop along the way for a relaxing dinner, Chelyan and Mel arrived at her home in Springfield before dark. They had agreed during the drive that because they couldn’t even guess how long they’d be in Springfield; they wouldn’t purchase any groceries immediately but eat out or pick up takeout meals as required. Chelyan gave Mel a quick tour of her house and then they settled into her king-sized bed for their usual night of pleasurable exercise.
Mel had driven Chelyan’s Cadillac Escalade from Bramblegrove Beach to Springfield, but in the morning Chelyan took over the driving responsibilities for their journey to the Dieter Technologies headquarters. She drove into the empty parking space marked CEO.
