Chelyan opened the door and Marshall rushed into her inviting arms. The stress of the day’s interviews finally got the best of her, and she burst into tears on his shoulder. He hugged her tightly to him and waited for the flood to subside. Mel silently walked around them to close the office door and then picked up the tissue box off the desk before returning to his chair. “I tried so hard not to do that, but obviously, I lost the battle,” she blubbered, stepping away from Marshall and noticing the tissue box Mel was holding out to her. She grabbed a handful of tissues, first wiping the receding river flowing down her cheeks and then blowing her nose. “I know, sweetie, I know. It has to be difficult for you not just to return here but to spend most of your day here,” Marshall said. Chely
