“You know something, mister handsome mystery writer?” Chelyan asked softly, with her head resting against the headrest, but gazing lovingly at Mel as he drove her Cadillac Escalade down the resort’s long driveway.

“Those were the most amazing four days of my life, without a doubt. You made me feel like I was a queen all weekend and I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart. Definitely the best birthday present I could have ever wished for.”
