“How good are your acting skills?” Adam asked as he and Amanda climbed into the hire car Tobias hired for them.
“I’m not a good liar, if that is what you are asking?” Amanda responded, looking out the window as Adam started driving to the nearby town. From what Amanda could gather, it was about as big as Bay's Beach but inland.
“Lying and acting are two completely different things. You can still act as something different, that's not really lying. We have to come up with a story to tell the people here”, Adam said as he noticed Amanda playing with her wedding ring. “You don’t want to take that off, do you?”
