“Hey Chicky”, Chelsea called from the regular booth the three ladies sat at as Wilber followed behind and gave Brenda a quick kiss before positioning himself at the doorway of Café Latte.
“Hi” Amanda smiled, sitting down as the waitress came over. “My regular please, Sue and I will need a steak sandwich to take away in about half an hour.”
“How are you coping?” Chelsea asked, getting to the point. She was never one to beat around the bush.
“I’m OK”, Amanda smiled, not wanting to give too much away.
