“Thank God, her waters broke while she wasn’t sitting on my lap. It would be hard to explain to everyone how I wet my pants”, Adam said, laughing as he wheeled Amanda and him into the elevator and the doors closed behind them.
She gave him a peck on the cheek; “Thank you” Amanda said as Adam gave her a smile. “How did you know she was having a contraction?”
“I would like to say experience, but that was only part of it. I had my hand around her stomach and felt the muscles tighten when she said she thought Ryan Levi kicked her", Adam replied, coming out of the elevator as Amanda got off his lap to walk to Toby's office. "When she said it happened earlier, I thought she needed to go to the hospital. It could have been Braxton hicks and was worth checking out. Now we know it wasn't.”
