“Why would you tell Joyce where we are staying?” Toby shouted at Tobias and Vanessa over the phone.
“She asked how Mandy was, and I told her what was happening”, Vanessa answered, trying to justify her actions. “Why is that a problem? She’s your sister, and she is out of the country and was worried about her, like the rest of us.”
“Guess again?” Amanda pointed out.
“You have us on speaker? How are you, dear?” Vanessa asked, trying to change the subject.
“What do you mean, guess again?” Tobias questioned, noting Amanda’s sarcasm.
“Joyce decided to board the first plane from Samoa and join us. Guess who was here when we arrived? I feel like I’m 14 years old again and my kid sister followed me to the mall”, Toby ranted, frustrated with the situation.
