“What did you girls get up to today?” Henry asked as Chelsea and Amanda walked out onto the patio near the front door and Chelsea covered her mouth to stop the giggles.
“Not much” Amanda said, giving a side glance at Adam talking with Barry and the security team at the front gate. She and Chelsea went to speak with Tobias after she received the text message from Adam. She explained she didn’t really think about what Adam did and how he risked his life to protect her. Chelsea was pointing it out in the room, and she feared for her friend; hence the argument. He explained, Adam knows the risks and is willing to continue to do his job, and he is ‘bloody good at it.’ Sometimes we need to put our friendship aside and this is one of those times. “What about you?”
