***RICHARD***

Amia:" Do you like what I did with the nursery? If you don't like it, we can come up with..." Amia is Jordans b***h. They know themselves from the orphanage. I did not meet Amia. She came a little late after I ran away from the home. Unlike us, Amia is not an orphan. She grew up with a neglectful mother and a drug addict father. One day a neighbour called the social services and Six years old Amia was taken to the home.

" No it's perfect. I like it."

Amia: really? That is good. I am so excited about this that I just bought everything. I love twins and I want a girl. You know how much I've been trying for a girl child but that tribe of Jordan only makes boys...

There's just one thing I hate about her and that's the fact that she talks a lot. She could go on and on tirelessly all day long. I do wonder how Jordans cope with her but then, he grew up with her and they have a long history.

I didn't catch any other thing she said because I am more concerned with the nursery decorations. She did a good job, I like the colour design and the two cradles. I am fascinated by the tiny items she got for the babies.

The room is filled up with a lot of baby things and I can tell she's got a great taste. I gave her my black card a week ago to acquire all these but she is done an excellent job.

Amia: did you come up with any names? A female and a male name? I need their names to decorate the walls. This pink side is for the little princess while this side is for the boy.

From her tone and pitch she's more excited about the girl child. I know she's gonna spoil her. Her side of the nursery is filled with goodies from all Disney character and I feel my boy is not gonna be getting more of Aunt Amia's attention. This one is fed up on male children already.

" I will think of a name this weekend and I'd give you the feedback next week" The truth is I am even clueless on that topic.

Amia: Please don't forget that they're twins and twins do have rhyming names... like Patrick and Patricia, Romeo and Rose, but i will advise you give the princess, princess-like names that suite a girl child. The girl child is an epitome of beauty, elegance and did I say beautiful?...Maybe a Disney character name...

Jordans needs to up his game, I am tired of hearing her talk about girl child over and over again. I text Jordans " call your wife and tell her to go home. I am tired man!"

He send me a laughing emoji and I hear her phone ring. I already know it's Jordans so I leave her in the nursery and enter my study to pore over some shipment typescripts.

Tomorrow is the 30th of May and I will be meeting with king Banzi or should I say Richard? It is still hard to believe.

** THE PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL**

The New doctor checks a particular patient's document. He sees no reason for the facility to keep this woman in the mental ward for over Thirty-four years. There's nothing mentally wrong with the woman. His mind is pondering over the reasons his predecessor could declare a woman mentally ill for years when the woman is mentally fit.

This woman is the oldest patient in the facility and there's no record of visitations from any of her family relative, which is odd. The facility is a private owned medical facility specialized in inpatient mental health treatment and it requires a monthly payment from the patient's legal guardian.

"Nurse Tito, please report to my office now!"

Some minutes later, an old nurse knocks at the door and comes in.

Doctor Sandile: Nurse Tito, you have worked with my predecessor for years now, I want to know why this woman was kept here for over Thirty years when all evaluations proves her not mentally ill.

He passes the file to the shivering woman. She opens the document uncomfortably. The doctor could see her trembling and it confirms his suspicions.

Nurse Tito: I don't know Doc. I started working here after she was admitted. I don't know anything.

Doctor Sandile: Really? You think I bagged this degree by paying my way? Nurse Tito I am a psychiatrist and I know you are lying. You better start talking before I report you to the board.

She is sweating profusely in an Aircon office.

Nurse Tito: please don't do that, I will be retiring next month and I don't want any casualties. My grand daughter just got admitted to the college. Please. When I started working here newly, I noticed she's quite sane and I confronted Doctor Ndolvu. He told me to do my work or I'll be fired. So I kept mum. Over the years, I noticed her bills were always paid in cash and I suspected some foul play. I came back to doctor Ndolvu and threatened to report him to the board. I am ashamed of myself Doc. I am a single mother of three and I accepted the monthly deposits for keeping mum to the issue. But I think she's being kept safe here.

Doctor Sandile: so you are a bribee? The religious nurse that the whole facility praises? How long did you receive the monthly allurements?

Nurse Tito: Over twenty years sir.

Doctor Sandile: Let me guess, it's cash right?

She nods ashamedly.

Doctor Sandile: You truly are shameless. You kept a perfectly sane person in this facility, for greed? Yes, you're greedy. My mum raised all six of us as an only parent and she's only but as a housemaid with no matric. I am a professional and I can't keep mum like you. Please leave my office.

After she leaves his office, the doctor goes to Miss Connie's ward. He sees her reading in her hospital clothes while sitting by the window. There's nothing wrong with this lady.

Doctor Sandile: Miss Connie, can I speak to you for some minutes?

she checks her little calendar and frowns.

Connie: Today is not my evaluation day.

Doctor Sandile: I know. I want to speak with you on something else.

Connie: If it isn't my psychiatrization then, there's no need for that conversation.

Doctor Sandile: you don't need psychiatrizing. You are perfectly fine. I just want to know why you choose to be here.

Connie: I didn't choose to be here. You people forced me to be here.

Doctor Sandile: That is the reason I want to have that conversation with you. I have been studying you for the past one year since I started working here and I have conducted several assessments showing you're mentally sane and you don't belong here. Please come with me to my office. Let's discuss more on that.

This New doctor is not like the rest so she'll believe in him a little.
