There's something about this brooder that got me tense. I can't think straight...

Jordans: " She's beautiful man! Who's she? A new face in the entertainment industry?" I thought he is busy with the shipments alignment.

" Are you done with the alignment?" I changed the topic and put the picture in it's file. I told Matt to give me hardware files on the brooder. There's no name attached to it, no personal details just a picture and medical records of the brooder. I made a mental note to get personal information. I need to know the mother of my child since it's her ovaries that will be used.

Jordans:" I've forwarded the assessment to Botho . He's on it as we talk."

" I'll be travelling to the North tomorrow"

Jordans: Tomorrow? What's happening there?

" I want to consult sanusi. I have cleansing to do. I am about to embark on a lifetime journey where I need all the bad energies out of my system before I proceed." Sanusi is my trusted seer. With the line of work I do, I always have dark clouds lurking over my head and I do cleansing for pacification.

Jordans: oh that's good. I'll see to it that the security details are arranged for the trip this evening. I guess it's the surrogacy thing. Have you chosen a brooder?" I pass him the file to see.

Jordans: Honestly bra! I also happy you're doing this. It is good start. The lady is beautiful and her medical records are perfect for the job but I'll do further investigations just for clearance sake.

One of the things I like about Jordans is his selfless effort to do investigations on any deal I venture. He'll clarify over and over again to avoid loopholes. He's just so accommodating.

" There's just something about those her eyes...they tell a bunch of untold tales. I want to unfold all tales"

Jordans (laughs): Now you're speaking like sanusi. He talks in parables, like poems or something. I don't get a thing.

In one month, things went south in the factory. There's no supplies of basic amenities. The Brooders complained of lack of toiletries and electricity. The heat was much, the food was less and everything was a big mess.

Lesedi walked in angry.

"Chommi, what's up?"

Lesedi: This is the worst pregnancy of my entire life. (Sobs) No food, no constant power supply, the humidifier is out and I'm pregnant! Oh god I am going to die at childbirth.

" Don't say that sis! You're not going to die. We'll be liberated together. We'll see our families and we will finally be happy. Be strong sis." I tried consoling her.

Doctor Segundo's replacement, Doctor Kashmir, an Indian surgeon walked into our room. The door was open for ventilation purposes cause the power is out again.

Doctor Kashmir: " Hello ladies"

" Hello doctor" I replied alone cause Lesedi is so pissed to even give a f**k.

Doctor Kashmir: Ashley darling, we have a client for you and I'll like to see you at my office tomorrow at 7AM.

" Client? At this critical times? Doc, I can't be pregnant with all these strikes. Please doc."

Doctor Kashmir: You don't have a say Ashley. It's an order. See you at 7 AM tomorrow. Bye Lesexy!

He walked out after dropping the bomb on me.

" Ahhhhh! No no not now" I wailed as the table turned around and Lesedi consoles me.

The next day,

After the insemination, I run to the washroom and try to pee out the sperms. I heard some Brooders in the past did that and avoided brooding many times.

" It doesn't work like that Ash!" I thought I was the only one at the washroom . Her name is Ntando and she's also an old brooder like me. She has the highest number of brooding in the factory. I used to admire her beauty during the first years I was here. She still has it in her. Her blonde hair has lost it's shimmer and her white skin has wrinkled. I think she's approaching her early forties.

" I don't want to be a brooder! I want to go home. I'm tired! I didn't choose any of this things " I cried.

Ntando: Nobody here does too. I've had over twenty-six babies taken away from me. I didn't choose any of things. I only went on one birthday party and I didn't make it back home. The doctors are smart, Ash. Before the insemination, they monitor your hormonal system and fix a date for the insemination. After the insemination, they make you remain put for hours before discharging you. So the method you're trying to do, it can't work. I tried it many times yet I lost and they still won.

And just as she said, weeks later, I was confirmed brooding.

I got a mail from the web today that my brooder is positive. Actually it is good news but I'd like to meet her in person.

I've told Matt to work on it and I'm waiting for feedback. Let me call Jordans and inform him of the lastest update.

" Jordans, prepare a nursery... My jet is on Air."

Jordan: Congratulations bra! I'm super proud of your sperms. You don't shoot blanks I suppose.

" Sure bra" The excitement was visible in my voice and face. I couldn't help but smile. After the call, I decided to call Leo and have him organize an all staff gathering tomorrow. I gave him my Golden credit card and he went away happily.

The entire company was in good mood as they heard of the gathering and the holiday plan.

Today's a happy day so I'm visiting the orphanage to catch with my first family. I have been supporting the orphanage I grew up for years now. I made it an habit to include them in my payslip every month.

I like to visit the orphanage unnoticed by the kids. I'll just come in and walk around.

Rev. Sister: you're in luck Richard! Mr Richard is visiting today.

Today is indeed a happy day for me!7.
