***ASHLEY***

Saga: I didn't think you'll be here Ashley. I thought... nevermind, I came to get you Thanbang. Order from above.

Thanbang: why?

The nerve of this bastard

Saga: lady, I just told you that it is an order from the boss. I don't owe you any explanations. Just come with me.

" Really Saga, you don't think you owe me an explanation? You left with my son, my SUN...for nine good years now. I deserve to hear about him..he is my son too"

Saga: look Ashley, I didn't come here for you. I came to get Thanbang here. You do know your place here. You don't have any child or children. They belong to others. You are a brooder. You help people who can't...

A clap! I gave him a slap.

Saga: Ashley!

Thanbang: you deserve it. You're a monster and I wish she did more than that.

He raised his hands to slap me back but couldn't...he dropped it down and walked out angrily.

My shaking legs found the seat and sat down. Saga has open a fresh wound and it really hurts. I can't help but wail. I wail for my life. I screamed till I couldn't hear myself anymore. The pain is fresh again.

When I opened my eyes I saw all the guards and the other brooders in the room. The Brooders had their usual pity looks and I've grown to hate them.

Thanbang was by my side crying for her own loss I guess. I was still lost in my mind when I saw Thanbang dragged away by the guards and at that moment, I knew that I will never see her again.

The Brooders helped me stand and they took me back to the room to lie down and cry myself to sleep.

I woke up at night alone with the lights out. I tried to stand up and locate the emergency light when a phone light frighten me.

It was Saga siting at other empty bed close to mine. Amara's bed. His phone's light is enough light to see the room and his gloomy look. I didn't say a word to him. I maneuver myself to the restroom and did my thing. I woke up to the babies on my bladder. I didn't see anyone outside apart from the three guards in the hallway. I looked up to the time and it is 1:am.

When I got to the room, Saga was still there. I sit on the bed undecided.

Saga: Sun is a good kid. He's intelligent and smart for a nine years old. He has started asking of you. He's quite a curious kid always asking the whys and What's and how's and a lot. He's a handful. I couldn't bring you his pictures so I brought my phone...I have his pictures here.

I didn't wait a second as I ran to his side and watched him show me his pictures. My Sun is shining very bright in those pictures. He is a happy kid and quite a catch. He's got a few missing tooth yet still lovable. I collected the phone and trace his face in those pictures...my shining sun.

" he's happy."

Saga: He lives with my parents. He can only visit when I'm not here. My parents love him and he's a spoiled happy kid.

" What did you tell him about me?"

He became mute for ages. I bet he told my son that I was dead and forgotten.

" That I'm dead?"

Saga: I didn't mean too but it was the only sensible thing to tell the rents for them to accept to raise him.

" Why can't you tell them the truth? Why can't you help me leave here? Whyyyyy!"

Saga: I can't Ashley. They'll kill sun Ash! They'll kill my family and everyone I know. You don't know the people I work for. They're really heartless. It's a miracle they allow me keep him and you know it ash. I am doing this for our son's sake. He's all I have and I love him so much. This is the only way I could protect him.

" He has a cut here at his leg. What happened to him?" I know his a pawn to the boss and he also doesn't have way out.

Saga: That one, he plays a lot. I do tell the rents to scold him but they don't listen. He had that injury when he was five, fell from the fence. The boy is a little monkey. He climbs a lot.

I could tell he loves my sun very much from the way his eyes spark as he speaks of him.

" I want him to shine like the he is."

Saga: He is, Ash. Our boy is the sun himself. He has outshine me in my rents eyes.

We share a laugh...I went back to looking at the pictures.

" I don't know my fate, Saga but I want you to promise me something. I know you know about his scar. His siblings all has the same initials at the same spot. I want you to tell him about the scar. Let him know his siblings when they meet. That's the only thing I can do for him Saga. I can't think of anything else."

Saga: I understand Ash. I promise I'll tell him when he's of age. He'll find them and they'll unite. I wish there's something I can do but sun is the leverage used on me. I can't jeopardize that.

" You shouldn't. I don't want anything happening to my baby. I totally understand everything you have said and I am sorry for the slap...I shouldn't have done that."

Saga: I deserve it. For the way our sun was conceived. I am really sorry for my past behaviour. I wish I could go back in time and correct my mistakes. I am truly sorry Ash.

" It's okay Saga and I have forgiven you a long time ago. You shouldn't beat yourself over that. If you haven't done that, someone else will and I still believe everything happens for a reason and we had our shinning sun. Having him alive and smiling has changed my view on how things are." Indeed it made me happy seeing my sun shining.

We talked and laughed all through the night till he had to return back to his base.
