I can see the hesitation in Ashley's eyes, and I want to make sure she's comfortable with her decision. I don't want her to feel like she's being pressured or forced into anything. I want her to choose me, freely and willingly.
So, I decide to tease her a bit, to make sure she's really on board with being my woman. I want to hear her say it, to confirm that she's all in. I don't want any doubts or uncertainties lingering between us.
I take a step closer, my voice low and gentle.
