Adaline's POV

I was incredibly pissed off and hurt. I couldnt help it. I ran right into the kitchen looking for something sweet to calm my anger. It always worked before, and also praying to the Moon Goddess, no one followed me because I didn't want to talk to anyone. Of course, she wouldn't let me be at peace for two seconds as I smelt the woodsy smell I always loved that Sebastian wore. "I dont want to speak to you right now, like I really really dont, I am pretty sure I can take you on even if you have a wolf." Not pretty sure I know I could right now with all my pent up anger. "Ad please, we really need to talk about this. You really need to hear my side, please!" I could hear the urgency and saddness behind his please. I sighed and put down the pint of caramel ice cream I had found, "I am coming back for you in a minute," I whispered to it and heard Seb chuckle "still talking to the food I see."

I turned to him and glared "No you do not get to talk to me like that, like we are still together and have that playful tone. I am hurt Sebastian. I am more than livid. I am beyond pissed off." He hung his head "I know, I wanted nothing more than to come to you and James, but I couldnt." He stepped closer to me caustiously holding his hands out to me. My eyes narrowed as he moved closer and grabbed mine. "I was told by the Moon Goddess herself that this is what was to happen. If I went back to you, it would have meant death for us all. I couldn't handle knowing I would be the cause of your death or James. God James was my biggest concern. It took a long time for me even to warm up to Sophia and Stella, even with Jax yelling at me." I smiled. Even though this whole wolf thing was new to me, it was still crazy that Sebastian had a wolf as well. His eyes started to glow a golden yellow. "Woah Seb your eyes!" He chuckled "Luna" and he bowed. "Oh Jax then huh, its a pleasure to meet you I guess." He huffed at that, "Luna I am to be one of your top protectors along with Night and Shaw the three of us have vowed to the Moon Goddess that no harm shall ever come to you."

"I appreciate that, Jax, but you will have to excuse me for a while as I am still hurt, but I understand at the same time, can I have Sebastian back please?" He bowed once more, that is still so weird to me. Selena chuckled in my head. "So my protector, huh?" I smiled at him and he chuckled back "always". He held his arms out and I couldnt help but embrace him. I had missed being in his arms, but it was different now, it wasn't in a lover way, yes loving but not as before. "Come on" as I grabbed his hand "lets get out there and face the music." His laugh was amazing to hear again, I felt the worry and guilt coming off Barrett in waves. After grabbing him and calming him down and watching him exchange with Sebastian, I could feel James getting closer. Selena was prancing in my head, excited about having her whole family back together. She even told me what Sebastian's pup would be, but I am going to make them wait and have James tell them. Once James made his way to the door, I heard Sebastian gasp "my boy" and saw him down on his knees.

James had stopped a few feet from Seb and looked him over, studying his face. He peeked at me with a questioning look and Barrett wrapped his arms around me and we both nodded to him. He walked slowly over to Seb and placed his little hand on his cheeks. "I knew you would come back and make mommy happy again." Then he threw his little body into Seb and clung to his neck. I couldnt help it but the tears started to flow. He smiled up at me as Sebastian cried, holding him. I knelt down and hugged them both. Then James started giggling as everyone ran and hugged us all, it was a pile of ten plus wolves, definitely a sight to see. I got everyone to seperate for a moment and as Sophia was hugging Seb I took James back a bit so no one could hear and whispered into his ear "You need to tell you dad and Sophia, thats the pretty lady right next to him that they are giving you a little sister." He turned his head towards me and smiled so big. "Really momma, really?!" I had to explain slightly that it wasnt me that was having a baby but Sophia, he hopped down and ran into the middle of everyone. "Scuse me please."

Everyone turned to him, he looked up at Seb with the biggest little smile he could muster. "Tenstion, I have to say something that I am happy about." Sophia turned to me with a large smile, knowing that I had told him. "I have a sister", then he hugged Sophia and snuggled her belly. Everyone cheered and congratulated them. I felt Barrett snake his arms around my waist from behind. "You are an amazing woman, you know that." Selena purred at the compliment. "Mmm we like hearing that." I turned to him and gave him a little kiss, he growled at how short I was in contact with him "I cant wait for James to be announcing our pup to everyone." Selena was wagging like crazy, down girl. "Woah there buddy, lets not rush things okay," I saw his face drop a bit so I grabbed his face and made him look at me. "I dont mean I dont want another baby, I do, believe me I do its just with everyhing that has been going on and this impending war that is coming I cant have antoher baby with all that." I kissed him hard "however I do not mind the trying part without actually getting pregnant." He growled deep at me lifted me up over his shoulder smacked my ass and started walking towards the pack house. "We will see you all at dinner" he growled out to everyone, I heard everyone laughing "dont worry we have James" Sebastian hollard at us, then Barrett was off like a bat outta hell to our room.
