Chapter 10
“What’s good man! To what do I owe this call?” Chad said as he answered his friends call.
“Aye dawg what’s up! I don’t want anything really, just checking in on you, I haven’t heard from you since the party,” Chris said, yelling over the music blasting from his car.
Although Chris and Chad did not physically talk every day, the two stayed in constant contact whether it be via text, or social media. So, when one went radio silent for too long, it was only a matter of time before the other would reach out with a real phone call.
“Aye man, I’m sorry, I know I fell off the grid for a minute, but I’ve just had a lot of s**t going on. My days are running into each other, and I don’t know, I just got some things on my plate right now.”
