CHAPTER 9

Hacker and Clara arrived just after Medic left to take the samples to the lab. Clara immediately ran to her big brother and hugged him and even hugged Trouble because she had so much fun with her at the welcome party with Trouble. Since it was a Tuesday there were not many people around the club mostly the ol’ladies and kids so the small group including the 5 brothers decided to go to the common room to talk and hang out. Hacker and Clara noticed that Stretch was holding Trouble’s hand and they both grinned. Hacker had to tease his big brother a bit and Stretch finally said, “You can tease all you want but we actually wanted to talk to you both. How would you both feel if Trouble and I claimed each other and actually legally got married?” Clara squealed and threw herself at Trouble, “Oh my goodness I’m finally going to have a sister. I’m so excited and it is so good to see my big brother smile and be happy.” Hacker spoke up, “Well it’s about time. I knew after he saw you at graduation that you were the one for him.”

The group told stories from their childhoods and laughed as the siblings told embarrassing stories on each other. They played pool and darts and laughed as Trouble beat each one of them. Trouble texted Prez and asked him to order pizza from the place they always ordered for everyone at the club for lunch including the ol’ladies and kids and to charge it to her account. Prez came in almost 2 hours after Trouble texted him, “There is pizza for lunch in the dining hall.” They all followed him to the dining hall for lunch.

They had just finished lunch and cleaning up when Medic arrived with the DNA results. “Hey Trouble, where do you want to go so we can discuss results, the medical wing or we can ask Prez if we can use his office?” Prez heard this and threw out a suggestion, “If you want privacy and comfort you are more than welcome to use my living room at the house.”

“Thanks for the suggestions. I think we will be fine to use the waiting area in the medial wing since there are comfy couches and chairs there and if we need more privacy we can always head to my house since I have plenty of room.” Trouble said as she nodded at Medic to lead the way. Stretch wrapped his arm around her and they walked to the medical wing.

Once they entered the waiting area Medic turned to Trouble handing her the file with the results, “Do you want me to tell the group the results or do you just want to read them and tell everyone?”

“I would like to read it first if that is ok with everyone.” Trouble said as she took the file from Medic. She read over the file reading each page and then handed the file to Lion and took a deep breath, “The DNA results show that all 6 of us share a biological mother and father. We are indeed siblings.” Lion looked at her with glassy eyes, “Can I hug you?” Trouble nodded and each of the brothers followed Lion’s lead and asked for a hug before touching her as they all remembered her saying it was hard for her to trust people.

Trouble turned to Medic, “Thank you for getting the samples for us and getting ran so quickly. Can you let Prez know and he can decide how to share the information with the club. I’m sure we will be seeing a lot of these 5 now that we know they are my brothers.” She then turned to Stretch and her brothers, “I can ride back to the house to get a cage so that we can go there to talk and have dinner and you can even stay with me as I have plenty of room for all of you. Stretch you, Hacker, and Clara are also invited as we are all about to become family in a couple of weeks. Also it would be good to get to know everyone before the run this weekend. I have my extra bikes that you three that flew in can use if you want to ride and go on the run with us.”

Lion chuckled, “That is sweet of you but we were actually able to bring our bikes with us. We have a plane that accommodates our bikes if we need to get there faster than what riding can allow us. Guys what do you think about grabbing our bags from our rooms and staying with our baby sister so we can get to know her and she can get to know us. We can have more in depth discussions about things that we might not want the entire club to hear or know.” The brothers all agreed and Trouble led them back to the guest wing where their rooms are & then her and Stretch went to find Hacker and Clara to let them know the plan for the evening.

Trouble texted Prez to let him know that they were heading to her house and that she offered to let her brothers stay with her. She knew that Speed would keep an eye on her as the only room that didn’t have a camera was her primary suite and that was just for her privacy but there was a camera outside her room and she could lock it with a biometric lock from the inside so that it could not be picked. As soon as the brothers made it to the main bar area Stretch and Trouble led everyone out front to the bikes and they all grabbed their lids and set off to Trouble’s house after adjusting their headset frequencies so that they could talk during the ride even though it wasn’t far to her home. Clara wanted to ride with Trouble so Trouble and Clara led the way with Stretch at the rear since he already knew the way just in case something happened between the clubhouse and her house.
