Chapter 6: GODS OF OLYMPUS?!

Apollo

"No, we have to protect the girl at all cost; What I saw in my vision is true. There is darkness that came with us, and that darkness is on this very ship right now." I explained and tried to convince them. When I fell asleep, I thought I was having dreams, but I wasn't. 

"Hades, my visions never lie. That darkness is here, and it is after our girl." I warned him. Hades was pacing back and forth, as he kept thinking of how did something or someone from Tartarus had escaped. 

"Hades, you can think about how it got out of Tartarus later. For now, we have to save our girl." Poseidon suggested. 

For once, I agreed with my uncle. We all rushed towards the door, so we can find the girl as quick as possible. However, the moment I opened the door, something had collided against it, then it was followed by a loud 'thud'. I quickly rushed outside to see what had happened, while Hades followed behind me. 

Once we stepped outside, Hades' eyes was now filled with anger. Rule #1: you should not temper with a God's anger. He saw the 'Cerastes', it was a creature from the depths of Tartarus, it had a body of serpent and on its head, there were a pair of ram's horn attached to it. 

Its body was covered in scales that shifted in different colors and shades, so it can camouflage itself from their surroundings. Its fangs weren't like a normal fangs that a snake would have, at the end of its fangs there were curled a bit, so it can dig into its prey's skin deeper. Once you get its venom, it can't be cured by normal medicine, but a cup of Ambrosia can heal the victim from the venom.

"You have no right to harm this woman! return to the depths of Tartarus!" With a powerful voice, Hades had commanded the Cerastes. But the Cerastes had only continued to hiss towards the woman. 

"I said leave!" With a voice full of authority, Hades had commanded once more to the Cerastes. One more time, It hissed at her angrily, and he finally dissolved into ashes. 

"Thank Apollo that we managed to find you." With relief painted in his voice, Hades said. 

"No, it's more likely she had run into us." Zeus argued. I ignored them, so I can introduce myself to our girl. 

"Hi I am Apollo! I am so sorry about the door" I said apologetically at her. It wasn't my intention to slam the door on her face. 

"A pleasure to meet a wonderful lady like you." I said, as I planted a kiss on top of her hand. 

"Hades, we can't just leave her alone, now that we know that she is not safe anymore." Poseidon, suggested towards Hades. Of course they are arguing at this time. 

I observed the girl that is currently in-front of me. Confusion was clearly written all over face, I continued in staring at her, when I noticed that her breathing had became heavy, her eyes were starting to close. Being the God of Medicine: I immediately knew what was going on.

"HOLYSHIT! she's having a panic attack right now!" I rushed towards her, before she could hit her head on the floor. 

"Peanuts." It was the last thing that the girl had said. I quickly gathered a little bit of strength, so I can use my powers to heal her. A subtle light had glowed in my hand; This should be enough to heal her. I placed the glowing light over her lips, I watched the light turn itself into a liquid form, so the girl would be able to take my medicine without any trouble. I poured the liquid towards her mouth. The medicine poured itself from the palm of my hand to her mouth. The trembling of her body was coming down to a halt, when the last drop of the liquid was finally drank by her. Her body had finally calmed down. 

"Let's bring her into her room, and dad go fetch her dog, she might go looking for it, when she wakes up." I placed my hands under her knees while my hands supported her back. I was about to carry her back into her room, when Hades stopped me.

"Woah, we can't just carry her back into her room. People will think that we did something wrong to this girl. They might even think that we are carrying a corpse." He protested. Zeus only looked at him with a 'are you stupid?' face.

"Hades, I didn't create humans that are dumb enough, that they can't identify the difference between a corpse and an alive, breathing human." My father argued, with a bit of humor that was put in his voice. 

"Let's not argue, I will just put her on the couch and I will treat her. Go fetch her dog." I shooed them away; I entered our room and laid her down on the couch. I observed the girl laying down on the couch. 

She is what you call an innocent-beauty: Her smooth, silky, and dark hair, had ran past her shoulders. Her lashes are the ones that emphasized her looks as an innocent one. The skin on her face wasn't like porcelain like Aphrodite's. However, her skin didn't have any blemishes nor scars that was displayed on her face. Her pale-pink lips weren't over plump like some other girls, who literally looks like their lips are about to pop in any moment. 

There was one physical trait that I saw in her when she fainted. The color of her eyes were a deep shade of gray, it was almost like she was Athena's daughter. 

But she didn't look like Athena, well except for her eyes. I'll ask her about her background when she wakes up.

Claire         

"How will we tell her about the prophecy?"

"We will tell her, when the time is right."

"There is no point of hiding this from her, she had already seen what was after her. Might as well tell her about everything." 

"shh, she is waking up."

As my eyes open, my vision was still spinning since blood had somehow quickly rushed to my head. I saw four silhouettes surrounding me. When my vision was able to focus I finally got to see the four men that was in front of me. 

"Hello! Glad to see that you are finally awake." From what I remember, he said his name is Apollo. I only managed to give him a smile since I don't know him very well. My eyes landed on the three figures that was behind Apollo. 

Like a statue, they stood behind Apollo, they kept their heads bowed down, to avoid making eye contact with me. "Are they okay?" Apollo seem to have noticed that I was observing them. 

"Oh let me introduce you to them, this is Zeus! my father." He went towards a guy that has a straight, blonde hair that was styled into a quiff. To describe him: he was fairly tall and also muscular-in-structure, he was wearing an ordinary white shirt and some light brown khaki shorts. He radiated off the energy of a celestial being. 

"This is Hades and Poseidon, they are my uncles." 

Hades held that powerful yet attractive eyes, his eye color were a shade of black, and so was his hair, his hair was a bit messy. He looked like a male model that came out of a Calvin Klein's men magazine. He was tall just like his brother, and assuming that his demeanor gives off a vibe of calm and elegance. He wore a casual summer clothing. 

While Poseidon had that eyes that were charming and calming, the color of his eyes was blue with a subtle shade of green that whenever you would stare at it, you would see the ocean within him. He smiled at me as Apollo introduced me to him. He was the type of person that is like an ocean: it has a very calm demeanor, and yet when angered its rage is unforgivable. His hair was also blonde, but the roots of his hair was a darker brown? The structure of his body was fairly muscular. 

And let me tell you this! They all look hot! 

"And I have already introduced myself, my name is Apollo!" He exclaimed, now this guy is literally a ray of sunshine, he is full of enthusiasm and energy. His dark brown hair..if his father, is blonde, why is he a brunette? His eyes were verdant green. He was smaller compared to his father, but by a good 3 inch he was taller than me. He wore clothes that was definitely stylish and like the ones in the vogue magazine. However, all three of them radiated off the power of a celestial being. Should I ask them? And their names are definitely like the Gods from the Greek mythology books that I have read.

And now it was my turn to introduce myself "My name is Claire Bunley."

With hesitation in my voice, I gained the courage to ask them this "By any chance? do you guys happen, to be.. you know? celestial beings?"

"Like what?" Apollo asked warily.

"I don't know? Gods or Goddesses?" I asked, strange looks were exchange among them.

With seriousness laced in Hades voice, he asked me. "Would you believe us if we said, that we are one of the Gods of Olympus?"

"What gave you away to ask that question?" Another questions had came in, when Apollo asked me.

"I could sense the energy, that was coming from all of you." Then they exchanged looks, that somehow says 'I agree on this' But I don't know what they agreed on.

"We will explain later; Tonight there will be a dinner party that will be held later, and we will explain there everything." Zeus explained to me.

"Come with us to the dinner party?"

I agreed to Zeus' invitation, since I want them to explain on what was really happening.

"For now, we all have 1 hour to get ready. For the dinner party. Apollo please escort Claire back to her room." Apollo walked towards me and he stuck out his arm. I took it politely, we started walking back to my room.

"My dog, where is Luigi?" I suddenly realized that I left my dog at the dog nursery.

" Oh Zeus gave him to Artemis for a while, she will take care of Luigi. You will get him back once we explain everything to you" Apollo assured me.

"Who is Artemis?" I asked him curiously.

"My twin sister...By now you surely want your questions to be answered right now. But be patient we will tell you everything later." That was all he said. Like a gentlemen, he opened the door to my room, so that I could enter. 

"Claire, see you at the dinner party." Before closing the door, that was the last thing he said.
