I watched as Mayson walked away and I knew that nothing I did would stop him from going or make him change his mind. I was scared for both of us when I saw Jake's friends taking hold of Mayson’s arms, but I knew that I wouldn’t be able to stop them. I don’t know what happened to Mayson because first he felt irritated and then his mood changed faster than the weather. How is it possible for someone to have this many emotions in one day? This morning he felt angry yet excited, then he felt irritated and now he’s angry and scared. I watched as his face went blank, showing no emotion and just wondered what was going on.
