I didn’t mind being the leader of the project, but I did mind not being told whose company it was. If I had known it was his, I wouldn’t have gone there nor would I have agreed to be the leader.
*This is good because we can get to know him better * Ace said, sounding all happy and in love. I, on the other hand, aren’t that happy. I'd be forced to be close to him, torturing both him and myself. When he touched my arm, he had the same reaction as Emma. I understand now why Grace chose danger rather than torture.
I left his office and the building as fast as I could and walked around with no particular destination in mind. Emma seems to be taking everything well. She spends most of her time with Grace asking all sorts of questions and if Grace can’t answer her, she sends Emma
