Okay, now that I really think about it, we know nothing. We don’t even know how to start looking for something that doesn’t want to be found. Gabriella did say she could point us in the right direction, but she cannot follow. What that meant, I have no idea, but we have to start somewhere, right?
“I don’t know why they are coming after us, but it looks like they only want you.” Grace said, sitting on the couch like she had no trouble at all.
“How good are your tracking skills?” I asked, walking closer to the couch.
“Why?” Grace asked, looking up at me with narrowed eyes.
“We need to find out where these creatures are coming from, right? Maybe if we can track down Jake, he can lead us somewhere because he has to be working for someone. There is no way he works alone.” I
