Third person POV
“Why are you here, Chase?” Callen asked, looking at Chase, who was looking at Alex skeptically.
“I just came to make sure you are okay, and it looks like you are.” Chase said with a spark of mischief behind his eyes. The way Callen looked at him, he knew Chase would never let this go and, to make matters worse, the doorbell rang. Callen looked towards Alex and then the door. He picked up his bag and looked at the time, “I’m sorry, but I have to go. I have class.” Callen said, walking towards the door and opening it.
“You are early.” Callen said, looking at Emma who was fumbling with her hands nervously.
“Sorry I should’ve called or texted, but then I remembered I don’t have your number, only your address.” Emma said, looking at Callen feeling a bit out of place. Ca
