Mayson POV
We left the warehouse, taking Callen and Emma with us. I don’t know if I should be worried or amazed. They ran away the first time we got into a real fight, yet today they stayed. I couldn’t exactly go back wearing only a dirty piece of cloth, so we had to take a detour. It was longer, but eventually we made it back to society in one piece. Callen and Emma were quiet as they walked beside us, not once looking at us or speaking. I still can’t figure out why we felt pain, but I’m sure we’ll eventually figure that out.
