Narrator's Pov
There had been a countdown all over the Kingdom as the citizens waited for the day that came about every hundred years. The transfer of power from one king to another. The day was even more important as not only was that happening, but the King was getting mated the same night.
A week of celebration had been declared by the acting queen and the whole country had been full of excitement. Packs preparing gifts for their new king and most of all, the mating arrangements of one of the biggest ceremonies ever experienced.
A union between two kingdoms, a love union for that matter.
The preparations had been large, no budget set aside as the Blacks were ready to splurge on their daughter, the Whites not left behind, pitching in, and finally the Raxon royal family.
