"Nova, he's coming here, Nova!" exclaimed Carol, while hitting Nova's hand.
With a charming smile, the man stopped in front of Zea, who was still standing tense with her hands clenched tightly.
"Hi, how are you?" he greeted.
Carol, Nova, and everyone who saw it were equally surprised and confused by the scene.
Meanwhile, Zea just stood silently with an expressionless face.
"Ze, do you know him?" whispered Carol. However, it was still audible to the man.
The man smiled. Then he answered Carol's question, "An old friend."
Carol nodded repeatedly, saying "oh." She felt awkward because Zea didn't respond at all.
"Want to chat for a bit?" the man offered Zea.
Even though Zea remained silent without responding, she complied when the man took her hand and invited her to walk away.
