chapter 1 backstory

I'm Shii Lee

ive been friends with mikasa since my parents died.

her family have accompanied me for several years now, tho I don't live with them yes I live alone. a seven year old living on her own. they insisted I live with them but I refused, my mother has tought me to survive on my own ever since I was 3. After my parents death I've been using all the lessons shes tought me. I never knew the reason of their death tho, it made me overthinking a lot I ended up being distant until I mean mikasa. I've been quite stoic too when my parents died it never changed when I met mikasa and her family

things was okay I had a lot of fun with mikasa when her doctor visits their house. now mikasa and I are 9 years old

I've just left the akermans house at noon since that's the time their doctor would come, it was raining hard. it was foggy I was only able to see tree's and 3 men walking across but I didn't think much of it. I waited by a tree for an hour and I thought the checkup was over but when I came back I saw two people coming towards their house so I followed. I saw their doctor coming by Doctor Yeager was that? I asked myself as I remember him his looks last time he came.

your Doctor Yeager am I right? I asked him, he nodded

your mikasa's friend right? I'd like you guys to meet my son Eren. he said

hi I'm Eren.he offers a hand shake

you shake hands

Dr. Yeager :Let's go visit their house now shall we?

we nodded

hello? it's Mr. Yeager.

no response

you get a little anxious

he knocks again, Hello?

no response

Dr Yeager : looks like their not home

No.

they look at you

I just visited them

you insist to open the door

Dr Yeager : I'm coming in— *shocked*

Eren: why father?

you open the door wider

*I— *you stand in shock

"their dead. not good. eren have you seen a little girl walk by? "

"no"

"I'll report this to the military police you and Lee stay by the mountain okay"?

" yes Dr Yeager. "you respond

you drag eren with you

" OI I'M NOT GONNA STAY BACK AND LET HER GET kidn*pped YOU AND YOUR COWARD a*s STAY HERE " eren shouted

you threw him at the ground

"tch. you think I'd stand by and let my friend get kidn*pped by some random people?you i***t a*s. I'm saving her. "

you turn and walk away

"hey where are you going??? "

"saving her isn't that what you like you brat?

" I'm coming "

your eyes slightly widen

"your gonna get in trouble your dads gonna be worried sick. "

" well what about your parents?if im gonna be scolded then you will too! "

"their dead. "

silence.

" tsk. whatever I'm still joining and I don't care what you think! " he said as he ran

EREN YOU i***t?!??!

DAMN IT

when you finally found eren he was already stabbing 1 man repeatedly

"eren what are you—" your eyes fall on mikasa

MIKASA

as you were about to step in another man appeared behind you

huh?

HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!??!?

he was about to grab you but you go faster than him you duck then kick his leg enough to make him slip

"kill him! " eren shouted as he was trying to untie mikasa fast and agressively

"EREN ARE YOU INSANE??? WE COULD JUST LET HIM GO TO JAIL!!! "

before eren spoke again the third man came out

you knew eren was right there was no chance on trying to hold on to them while waiting for the military police

you got your dagger on the pockets of your skirt which you keep stuff for emergencies

you repeatedly stabbed the the man you just slipped

you realised that the 3rd man came up to you he kicked you hardly then stabbed you on your torso with your own dagger stained with someone else's blood

you werent able to move due to the pain

eren tried to get his knife back but the man kicked him

"you two did this didn't you?!?? " he said as he started to lift eren up chocking him

your voice was too week to speak but you tried to tell mikasa to kill him

mi.. kasa...... kill him.. please-

mikasa looked at me with fear but there was no other way. we need to kill them if we want to stay alive

"Fight! " eren said

i-i can't do it! mikasa said in fear

"if you don't fight then you lose if you fight you win! " eren said while being chocked

I saw mikasa's body stopped moving she looked like she had complete control over her body before I knew it she ran up to the man stabbing him by his back he died

a while later Dr Yeager was scolding his son while I comfort mikasa

he offered us to live with him mikasa agreed but I refused but he really insisted and told me the place mikasa's been living in isn't a nice environment a lot of people died when they lived here for too long so I agreed to live with them and mikasa eren Armin and I became close friends.
