Chapter Ten Caleb kicked open his bedroom door and strode into the room, careful to avoid bashing Anneke against the doorframe as he went. He quickly crossed over to the bed and dropped her in the center of the mattress. She laughed as she bounced on the springy surface. But the smile was wiped off her face when Caleb immediately joined her, then pulled her into his arms and melded his lips to hers. She wrapped her arms around him and hung on for the ride.
