My eyes flew open, and the first thing I noticed were the flames. I breathed heavily through my mouth as I gasped for air, eyes widening as I scanned the room around me. It was dark save for the fire crackling away in the fireplace, yet I could see enough to place myself. There was a small couch in the corner beside me and a bedside table by my other side. On it was a bottle of water, which I promptly reached for and downed in less than a second. The haste at which I drank it made my head spin, and I found myself relaxing back into the bed. Where the hell am I? I glanced out the window, which was sealed shut but the curtains lifted to let in some light. What was outside seemed familiar, tall trees with thick trunks and wispy branches that seemed never ending. This reveals nothing. I
