Rejected and Special II

Rosa Emily-Ann Smith

 As I got off my bike I was shocked. The shadow pack it was exactly like I heard. It was full of all kinds of creatures. The packhouse was huge and it had a beach behind it. “ I wonder why they have a beach behind their packhouse. “ Probably for the mermaids,” said Ravana in my mind. “ Also I would like it if you did not tell your dog about me. I only want my beloved to know about me. The only man whose eyes I want on me is my beloved said Ravana as she vanished to the back of my mind. “ She is something else, “I think to my self. I walked up to the front door of the ring the doorbell. The doors opened and I walked in and came face to face with a woman. She was about 5’3 and she had half of her hair black and the other half white. I sniffed “ a vampire,” I think to myself. “ Hey my name is Rosa Emily-Ann Smith and I am the leader here but you can just call me your highest,” said Rosa. I looked at Rosa shocked “ Really” I asked. “ No,” said Rosa laughing “ you can call me Rosa”. I looked at Rosa laughing so hard that her pale face was bright red. “ Okay, Rosa I am so glad you are a down to earth person. My name is Jamie and I came to your pack to see if you had any ophan children come here thirteen years ago” I said getting straight to the point. 

Rosa stopped laughing and looked at me and said “ come to my office. I will have to look in my files.” Rosa started walking down a long hallway and I followed close behind. “ So you keep files of everyone here, “ I asked as we begin to walk up a flight of stairs. “ Yea. It was my son’s idea when he was little. He would always say mama what if we have to find someone. We need to keep up with everyone. So me being the great mom I am I started to keep a file on everyone. Back then it was much easier cause it was only fifteen people here” Rosa said pausing to laugh. “ Wait you have a son,” I asked shocked. “ She looks like she is only nineteen years old,” I think to my self. “ She is a vampire dummy. She ages slowly” said Ravana. 

“ Yes, I have a son and a daughter. I am only three hundred twenty. Which is thirty-two in human years” said Rosa laughing as she stops at a door that said, Queen Bee. Rosa turned and looked at me “ I know your about to ask about the name on my door. My daughter put it there.” I looked at Rosa trying so hard not to laugh and said“ What I wasn't about to ask about the name Queen Bee I meant Rosa”. Rosa looked at me and laughed. She then walked to the door at the back of her office and unlocked it and we both walked in. This room was huge and full of file cabinets. Rosa walked to a file cabinet and opened it. She begins to take files out and look through them. 

“ Can I help you look through the files?” I asked hating to be standing by the door not helping. “ Sorry Jamie but to keep the people safe here only me and my son can view files,” said Rosa as she stood up and walked towards me. “ Also we have not had any orphans arrive thirteen years ago. We haven't had just children's arrival in a very long time. It is rare for just children to show up here” Rosa said as she mentioned for me to back up so she could walk out and close the door. “ Okay thank you so much, Rosa,” I said as I walked to her office door. “ Wait for a minute, where do you think you are going,” Rosa said looking at me. “ I was about to leave,” I said back confused on why she stopped me.

 “ No your not. All guests here have a meal before they leave. Plus its lunchtime” Rosa said sitting in her chair. “ I am not that hunger plus I have a long drive back to my pack. My mate should be there waiting for me” I said smiling as I turned around my stomach let out a huge rumble. I instantly blushed and looked at Rosa. Rosa busted out laughing and said “ Lunch starts in one hour cause my daughter is off taking care of busy but she should be back by then. Until she gets back why don't you tell me more about your self cause you have a wolf scent but you don't smell like a wolf”.
