Kael’s POV She was beautiful. That was the first thought that slid into my mind as I stared at the photographs spread across my desk. Laura Brooks. Damien’s supposed mate. The photos weren't some glossy print torn from a magazine; it was a high-resolution shot taken from a distance. I picked up one photo, she was stepping out of her house unaware she’d been captured.
