"Aren't you going to go after your husband?" I heard Alex ask behind me, while I watched the door that Logan slammed closed upon his leave.
"No." I replied with a calm tone, my mind had to focus on what's happening around me and right now, I have to deal with the sweet offer that Alex handed me today. "My husband and I will talk later when I get home." I said, then took the folder in my hands to hand it to my lawyer.
"Hold on to this for now, while we're out here waiting for Logan to make a move." I instructed Lester, who had a sad look on his face as he nodded off to follow my orders.
"Is that a yes?" Alex asked. That question made me smile and so I faced him to say, "No, Mr. June. I didn't say anything like that, did I?"
