"How did you do it, Mia?" Logan asked, while he was still lost and confused about what I said.
I needed to get home and think, after that conversation with Alex. I couldn't shake the fact that he was being too generous and desperate for me to take his proposal. It was too good to be true and I'm not a fool not to see what he's actually doing behind everyone's back.
Alex was just afraid to lose his company, he had gotten used to having that kind of thing in his life that when David demanded it back, he panicked and therefore the last favorable choice for him to do was betray him and ran to me for help.
Alex has no choice but to give David his company and the rest of that mother company he bought from Logan, which is a good thing for me because I no longer have to come after
