Marcus I joined the others at the cattle area to survey the mess. The feedlot, loafing shed, and barn all had some damage to them. Someone set fire to them all. Thankfully though we had a sprinkler system in them just in case this ever happened. I walked up to T’Jay and placed my hand on his shoulder as we just stared at the burnt pieces. “Mommy sure was smart huh? If she hadn’t of forced the Uncs to install those sprinklers years ago we’d have a hell of a lot more damage. If she were here she’d be telling everyone how she knew it was a good idea and look at how she saved the day once again.” I squeezed his shoulder when he finished reminiscing then patted his back to let him know we need to get to work.
