"Mum?"
Manny called out, the embarrassment in her voice was unmistakable.
Hearing her say the word 'mum', the security guard bowed in apology for the misunderstanding.
They explained that she had driven in frantically and asked to see her daughter.
"We'll take it from here." Andrew said as he walked up from behind them.
The security nodded and dispersed the rest of the guard while Andrew, his wife and Manny's mum entered inside the house.
Kari walked in with no care in the world and sat like she owned the place. Manny couldn't help but wonder what her mother wanted, it wasn't even up to a day and trouble was already stirring up.
