Josie thought her friend had gone insane. Didn't Andrew made it clear he wanted nothing to do with her? How else could he say it?
She watched Manny put on the dress that she had picked out yesterday and put on a lot of makeup to cover eye bags. Her friend was in denial, she had no idea what to do that could make her snap out of it.
"How do I look?" Manny asked as she adjusted her cloth. She looked better than she had looked in days, she couldn't say 'no don't go'. If this would help her get over everything once and for all, then she had to be supportive.
"You look great." Josie complimented, as she mirrored her friend's smile.
