ANNA:
I call Maryann in to the office an tell her what happened with Claudine. She just bursts out laughing. “Well at least you finally said something. Maybe you will feel better about having Fredo come in now. I know it really pissed you off when he’d come in and she’d be all over him.” I just look down, ashamed. “What if she goes to HR or something.” I ask. This makes Maryann really laugh. “Honey, we are HR. We have few enough people that she couldn’t even try to take legal action I don’t think. The worst thing that happens is that she quits. I wanted to fire her before because of this. So only good can come out of it.” I nod.
The day drags on and I wait for quitting time to come. Friday’s always feel longer than normal days. And I have a lot to discuss
