INTRODUCING AMALIA

AMELIA POV:

It feels as if it was yesterday when I found out that I was pregnant. I used to be the young, free and wild kinda girl who was born with a silver spoon. My parents were rich indeed, they still are, but I was never a brat. I partied a lot I agree, but never neglected my studies. I was a straight A student, obedient, never been in a trouble kind of girl untill I met him. He was a forbidden fruit, the one that I could die to get a taste of.

I looked at my three-years-old daughter who was sleeping peacefully with her face in the crook of my neck. Most of her facial features are like her father except for her chubby cheeks and heart- I shaped lips. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I would’ve told him about my pregnancy? Maybe he would’ve stayed. But I didn’t want his pity love, so I let him go and came here, New York City. Some people say this is a city of dreams and I definitely agree. My dream to become a mother came I looked at my three-years-old daughter who was sleeping peacefully with her face in the crook of true here, this is the birthplace of my daughter, my Bella.

“Mommy, wakey wakey”, said my three-year-old daughter. I smiled inwardly and pretended to be asleep. It was our daily routine, she used to wake up and I pretended to sleep. My babygirl has inherited all the good habits from her fath.. Nevermind. I’m certainly not an early bird, never was.

She started placing sloppy kisses all over my face and that was it. I grabbed her from the ground and started tickling her. Soon her laughter was filled in the air. She is the best thing that ever happened to me. I love her more than my life and I’m not sure what would’ve I done with myself after my only love betrayed me.

“Good Morning, SUNSHINE” I said and starter placing several kisses on her face. “Good Mawning, Mommy” she replied. I smiled at her cuteness and picked her up in my arms. Time to have some breakfast.
