"Now, let's go, woman. I don't have all day. If you value your livelihood, put the damn blindfold on."
"Stay here and don't make a f*****g peep. Otherwise, I can't protect you."
"Hello?"
There is no answer and I dare to peek from under the blindfold.
Blondie looks up and welcomes me. Panic shoots through me, but she doesn't seem to recognize who I am. But her long gazes over the bruises on my face cause me to wade back and forth. She smiles, "don't worry. You're safe here."
"What are you here for?"
"Ium, was hoping to get a pregnancy test."
"I'm the nurse, Noelle. I have your results."
"You're pregnant."
