As the door was slammed behind us, we turned around to see something that got ripped straight out of the 1700s. A buffet table lined the wall to both of our sides, with men wearing purple suits that matched the table cloth. Glimmering, gold-plated chandeliers hung from the ceilings. A soft, familiar tune from a pop song played…but it was from a violin. It made you want to tap your shoes to the beat, but it sucked you in that grand ball vibe. The aroma of sweet lavender wafting through the air that was drawing us to the dance floor. The dance floor was filled with people wearing their formal attire. Some red, some violet, some even royal blue. But for me, and even the other people inside were gawking at Eve’s gown. I shared the stares she got, almost everyone was looking at us, whisper
