“ELLIOT!” I heard Eve shouting my name. But I didn’t want to raise my head. I don’t need the extra attention from the other students in the cafeteria. I liked the darkness I was seeing. It just me and the blue pulsating figure, it the only company I needed. Someone tapped my shoulder. It wasn’t forceful, but the blue figure disappeared, and I was all alone in the dark again. “Elliot? Hey, it’s me Eve.” I heard the chair near me screech. “Elliot?” Eve kept on shaking me. I peeked through my arms, Eve was looking at me, her eyes were comforting. But, something kept dragging me down to the darkness. I want to stay here, forever. No people looking at me. No one going near me. No more voice… “Elliot, come on.” She was insistent, she wouldn’t stop shaking me. Until it stopped. N
