Chap 9 The Silent Snake

After 2 Days in London

Scar's POV

"All the necessary arrangements have been made. You just need to go to the cafe now in 30 minutes"

I say to Anna who's sitting beside me on the passenger's seat.

"3 days pass and you'll visit"

Says Anna not sparing me a glance.

"Ok.. now I'll take my leave. The cafe's at the corner, you'll reach in 20 minutes"

I say to her.

"And be careful, he likes to play games"

I tell her with a small smirk plastered on my face to which she replies,

"And I give my enemies time to play, nothing destroys them more"

And steps out of the car. My smirk widens and I mutter 'Indeed' and start the engine. I can see from the rare mirror that she's running down the street to the corner.

After 4 Days in Liono's Mansion, LA

Leon's POV

"Now that's what you get when you hide things from your brother !"

I scoff at an emotionless Liono.

"I didn't hide anything from you. It's just.. I didn't tell you"

I scoff again.

"It wasn't important"

Completes Liono.

"Wasn't that important ?!"

I look at him with 'duh' expressions.

"Okayy.. good, now have her treats she promised"

"Oh c'mon Leon stop taunting me. It's not your business. I'll deal with it myself"

He says with an irritated look.

"Ofcourse you will. Now get up I want u to meet someone"

He gets up, wears his jacket and we both go out to my car leaving the others here.

Liono's POV

After 25 minutes of drive, we reach Leon's private mansion.

"Hey why did u bring her here ? It's not secure enough. She may escape"

I ask worried.

"C'mon don't tell me this little girl can escape my security. Perhaps she can't even listen and talk.. poor her !"

He says with pity.

"What do you mean she can't listen and talk ?"

Okay now I'm seriously worried.

"Yeah man.. This poor girl you sent me to get is deaf and mute.. but such a beauty"

He chuckles.

I'm getting impatient to see her as to what the hell is going on so I tell him to just take me to her.

Standing in the hall, he calls his maid but no response. Now he shouts, still no response. We get worried so quickly go for the girl's room. On opening the room, we are greeted by a smell that comes from dead bodies.

"Holy s**t"

And there on the bed lays the dead maid. Didn't check her or anything as we both know she's long dead.

"So this little girl escaped your men and they don't even know"

I scoff at a very confused Leon.

"And this is-"

"What's that ?"

Leon interrupts me while pointing towards the side table where a notepad is kept. I pick it up and read.

While reading it, I stiffened and didn't move. He takes the pad from my hand and reads it loud.

"-When A doesn't go accordingly, you choose plan B but I always opt for the second from the beginning.

This was your first mistake Liono..

~ Anna, Anna Frank-"

Leon moves closer to me and says,

"Who is the Anna you met in London ?"

"I thought she was from The Santos' as I saw her once with them"

I answer also confused.

"Turned out she isn't"

Suddenly he questions again,

"And who is the girl you sent me to get from the auction ?"

"Word from the streets Cobra was planned to be there as a new stunt from The Vercetti's so I planned to get her since that was our only lead to Adriano Vercetti but turned out they were also planning against us"

And now I can spot astonishment on Leon's face with eyes almost bulging out.

"Cob- You mean.. The Vercetti's Cobra ?!"

He exclaims with confusion and I nod.

"f**k, f**k, FUCK..! Man I don't know much about her but I've heard that she's a silent snake and when you touch her she skins you alive not you being noticed"

He states and I also believe it as this is something which is true about Cobra.

You play with her, she makes you regret. Although nobody has ever seen her except for The Vercetti's as she works with them.

Suddenly, Leon's phone rings and he takes the call immediately.

"f**k" he mutters and ends the call.

"Who was it ?"

"Raven, he said the weapons which were on the way to San Diego were attacked and looted"

"The New York deal ?"

"Yeah"

"Okay so she's already giving us the treats by engaging us like fools. Pretty smart"

I say with a low tone and a smirk on my lips.

Plus we've made a new enemy, The Vercetti's..
