Chap 7 She Knew

In LA - Boss’ POV

Coming down from the jet, I can see my right hand - my best friend - my brother who’s waiting for me with a wide smile on his face. I reach him with Gabriel and CJ behind me.

“What a surprise Leon..” I say hugging him which he gladly returns.

“I knew you won’t tell me about your arrival so I myself thought to surprise you brother.”

And while moving back, he whispers,

“I got her Liono.”

I can clearly see a wide smirk on his face which brings one on my face also.

We all sat in our cars after greeting each other.

Leon is driving while I’m sitting beside him with Gabriel and CJ behind. Suddenly, CJ breaks the silence.

“Boss, I’ve been informed that the girl has left the cafe with all her things.”

“A girl.. which girl..?” Leon inquires.

“I’ll tell you Leon, just not now” I assure him.

“Yeah you better” Leon eyes me suspiciously.

Then the whole ride was silent till we reached the mansion. Reaching there, I told everything to Leon. He was a bit confused and angry to why I hid all those things from him but I convinced him that it’s not a big deal man..!

Leon’s POV

I’m a bit angry to why Liono hid everything from me but still relieved that he did tell after all.

He showed me the USB so I called my best man, Sethes who is very skilled in decoding.

Now we all are sitting in the big hall when Sethes arrives. He greets Liono first and then comes to me.

I can sense a hint of fear in his eyes while greeting Liono. Because last time when they both met, Liono put a bullet in his leg.. painful I know but can’t expect anything less from him.

To normalise the situation, I begin “Bro chill.. he has learnt his mistakes. Now don’t kill him with your eyes.”

“When you make a mistake, there are three things to be done. Admit it, learn from it and don’t ever repeat it. I prefer the last one more” Liono says while glaring poor Sethes who’s trembling in fear.

“I-I won’t repeat it boss, e-ever”

“You don’t have a choice either, Sethes”

“Okayyy.. Start your work now Seth” I meddle in Liono’s glaring contest.

I give the USB to Seth and he starts his work right away. After 30 minutes he finally hands me the laptop,

“ Whoever sent this.. is one of a kind. He made sure to destroy every hacking site we use.”

Interesting is the only thing I say before reading whatever is written on the screen.

Liono’s POV

After half an hour Sethes gives the laptop back to Lean. I don’t show any expression but I am shocked as hell after reading the words written on the screen.

“She knew. Damnnn” CJ says with confusion written all over his face as he is standing behind Leon.

I’m reading it again and again because I am so much shocked.

[You made a mistake before, you shouldn’t have made it again. Now have the treats, Liono !]
