Nivres dragged her down behind some boxes as a flurry of people ran by. From the commotion she could hear in the distance, it seemed their distraction was well and truly working.
"So, strike the settlement leader's building, take out as many as we can, reduce the place to ash and be back at the cave by sunrise. Was that not the next part of the plan?" She grinned, as another bunch of people came hurrying by their hiding place.
"That sounds about right." Nivres returned with a smile of his own.
"Well then, we best get a move on." She continued good naturedly. The thrill of battle pounded through her blood as her limbs itched to execute moves learned only by the Knights of Idrelas. She could never imagine giving this feeling up. It was something that called to her, that felt right.
