Chapter 2: The Beginning Part 2

Lee was sitting in the room in handcuffs, waiting for someone to come and ask some stupid and unimportant questions. How long has it been. Lee doesn't feel anything like this.

"Hello Lee, how long have we not talked one-on-one like this huh," a middle-aged man entered the room while smoking a cigarette.

A man who is no stranger to Lee, he often helps Lee in the past, and even now, he is still helping his family.

"It's been a long time, inspector Oh."

"What are you doing this time? Didn't I tell you not to go crazy," he said as he sat down in front of Lee.

Lee just kept quiet and didn't utter a word.

"Gossshh.. is it because of your mother?"

Lee was still silent.

"If I were you, I would also do the same thing. But isn't this too much to break one officer's arm and make the other faint," he said while looking at Lee.

"I'm just doing my job as a child."

"Your job? Will your mother be happy with this? Will your mother be defended with this or whatever? You will only make her sadder and sadder..." suddenly, inspector Oh fell silent because he saw Lee's gaze.

"I don't know," Lee fell silent again and didn't say anything else.

Inspector Oh is confused by Lee's response and reaction. We were silent for a long time until inspector Oh was about to leave and offer his assistance again.

"Listen, I can help you with this case. Even though it's going to be tough, I just hope you'll be patient while I'm at it."

"That doesn't need inspector Oh," suddenly a woman dressed in all black came and opened the interrogation door with a guard.

"Greetings, Miss Kyo," said the Inspector, respectfully to her,

"No need to be so formal, inspector Oh."

"What do you need here, miss?"

"I came to speak with him."

"What do you mean? Asked Inspector Oh.

"You don't need to know the Inspector. Can you leave us alone for a while? I want to chat with him"

"Okay.. enjoy your time," Immediately, he left Lee with a woman who was unknown and what her purpose was.

"Hello," Lee was silent and didn't really care about him.

"Okay, let me introduce myself first. My name is Kyo Hwang in.."

"Hwang in?" asked Lee in a surprised tone.

"Yes. Hwang in. Korea's current minister of defense. I am his daughter. And I am the director of Korean intelligence for the terrorist crime section," she said.

"..." Lee just stared at him.

Hearing this from Kyo, Lee began to think about the safety of his family and those closest to him. Lee had seen them act and how they solved a problem. Lee wasn't going to let that happen, but now Lee needed time.

"I'm going back to the office. I'm waiting to hear from you, Zero," after Kyo exited the door. Lee fell silent, confused by what happened to him today. how Lee will be in the future, he also doesn't know what it will be like

Inspector Oh returned and asked what they talked about not long after Kyo left. Lee just replied that it was not necessary. Not long after that, Lee was released and left with Inspector Oh. They also drove the car to the bridge where Lee used to think or contemplate.

After arriving and being pulled over, Lee also asked for a cigarette from Inspector Oh.

"Last we met, didn't you smoke?"

"Too many things happen in life. Sometimes I just want to enjoy the day in peace."

"What has that got to do with you smoking now!?" retorted Inspector Oh, annoyed

"Well, since I'm his son, it's only natural that you remember him," Lee replied.

We talked and joked about life for a long time. Lee also informed Inspector Oh of his future plans.

"Uncle?"

"why suddenly you call me uncle? are you short of money?" he said while looking for money in his pants pocket.

"No. it's not that, I'll be back.."

"What do you mean by going back? Don't tell me what you talked about with Miss Kyo earlier..."

"Yeah, I'll start again to find out what really happened."

"I've been thinking about it for a long time."

"What about your mother and sister?"

asked Inspector oh in a low tone. Lee also explained what happened while talking to Kyo earlier.

"I won't stop you if that's the case, but what you need to pay attention to is the safety of your family members and those closest to you, from what we know about this organization, that they have no mercy on anyone," said the Inspector while reminding Lee.

"I already understand that, don't worry. Kyo gave me support, and he also gave me this," Lee immediately showed the cellphone that Kyo had given him.

They saw a motorbike speeding towards them from afar when they were about to enter the car.

"Aakkkhhhhh," Inspector oh was shot, immediately Lee swiftly pulled Inspector to take cover behind the car.

"Damn it"

It didn't stop there. The two men stopped and continued to shoot Lee and Inspector Oh from the top of his motorbike. They just took cover behind the Inspector's car.

Seeing the position of those who fired on Lee and the Inspector continuously. Lee waited for the opportunity. It was seen that one of them was reloading bullets, so Lee swiftly replied and aimed at his head.

"Doooor," Lee's shot hit the head of one of the attackers.

Seeing his friend who died instantly with just one shot, he immediately ran away using his motorbike and left his friend's corpse just like that.

"Damn, what a coward."

Lee immediately went towards the person who attacked them and found out who he really was. Lee took off his mask and checked for any clues or marks on them.

Seen on one of his wrists is a tattoo of "REAPER." Tattoo of the grim reaper holding the scythe of death.

Realizing their actions, Lee immediately took the cellphone that Kyo had given and called her while running to Inspector oh to see how he was.

"Hello, have you thought about .."

"You have to explain to me what happened today! Immediately go to the bridge near Namyoo restaurant," said Lee.

"What do you mean?"

"We're attacked by REAPER!!!!" Lee shouted at Kyo and hung up the call.

"Inspector...." Inspector oh was unconscious, immediately Lee gave him first aid and also didn't forget to always hold on to his wound.

"Damn, if this continues, things will get worse" without thinking, Lee immediately took the car keys from the Inspector's pocket and hurriedly put the Inspector into the car.

On the way, Lee contacted Kyo to inform her of our current location

"Hurry up to the hospital near the King Hotel. I'm on my way there. Inspector oh got shot."

Arriving at the hospital, the doctors immediately gave Inspector Oh help and headed to the room for operation. Not long after, Kyo and his guards came.

"You have to explain this to me? But before that, give me your cell phone," Lee glared at him sharply. The cellphone that Kyo gave was only devoted to making calls to himself.

Kyo gave his cellphone to me, and immediately I called the mother who was at home.

"Hello"

"Mom.. are you okay?"

"I'm fine, Lee. Why? Leti (Leticia's nickname) is joking with her friends at our house," explained the mother gently.

We went out of the hospital to escape the noise.

"You invited me to join but didn't consider this situation and didn't share any information with me."

"We're sorry," Kyo didn't know what to say to Lee anymore. Because she didn't expect that their plans would fall apart.

For a long time, we were silent. Lee finally told kyo that he was willing to join them for revenge. Lee must have good and solid connections to avenge what happened to him in the past and find out about this truth.

"Glad you finally joined us."

"I joined also have other purposes and goals. Also, whether there are conditions, it's all up to you whether you want to accept my terms or not,"

"There is no guarantee that it will be accepted by the government, but because I have the power, I can give all of that to you. Congratulations on rejoining Lee," Kyo shook Lee's hand.

"Okay, tomorrow I will call you again. See you later".

Kyo and his bodyguards leave Lee.

"The time has come. I will not make mistakes and will find out what really happened in the past," it was confirmed that Lee would return soon. Lee had to call them again.
